Combined Laser Diode and TEC Benchtop Controllers

DK Photonics’ Combined Laser Diode and TEC Benchtop Controllers is specially designed for butterfly semiconductor devices. It integrates laser diode drive and TEC control and realizes constant current drive and temperature control at the same time. It has the advantages of high current accuracy, good constant current characteristics, stable temperature, and strong anti-interference ability.

It integrates laser diode drive and TEC control and realizes constant current drive and temperature control at the same time. It has the advantages of high current accuracy, good constant current characteristics, stable temperature, and strong anti-interference ability. It has protection measures such as overcurrent, overvoltage, and overheating, which is very suitable for laboratories and research institutions.

Features:

  1. Provide a standard output interface, which can be used to drive lasers of different packages with fixtures of different packages.
  2. High precision, low noise/ripple circuit output, the maximum output current can reach 2A.
  3. Real-time drive current and voltage monitoring with photodiode detection.
  4. With powerful protection functions, it can realize overcurrent, overvoltage, overheating, current ramp-up, current ramp-down and other protections to ensure that laser diodes and TEC devices are not damaged.
  5. Supports two working modes of constant current and constant power.
  6. External modulation input, support sine, square and triangle wave input, modulation frequency up to 100kHz.
  7. High-performance TEC control, with good temperature accuracy and stability, with both hardware and software PID automatic adjustment functions, support software PID parameter setting.
  8. Excellent laser protection mechanisms and fault diagnostics.
  9. High current stability, real-time monitoring of various parameters of the laser.
