Erbium-doped Fiber In-Line Amplifier for C-band

DK Photonics Erbium-doped Fiber In-Line Amplifier for C-band (LA, In-Line Amplifier) is an optical power amplifier product dedicated to line relay in fiber laser or fiber communication systems. It combines the advantages of PA amplifier and BA amplifier, with high gain, high transmit power, the advantage of relatively low noise is used between fiber sections to increase the length of the relay or in the corresponding single-to-multipoint part of the optical access network to compensate for branch loss.

Features

  • Low noise
  • High gain
  • High output power

Applications

  • Fiber Communications
  • Fiber Laser
  • Fiber Sensors

 *Note 1:

  • ACC mode: Automatic current control mode, where the user sets the pump working current of the fiber amplifier and the fiber amplifier automatically locks it to achieve a constant pump current. When the input optical power fluctuates, the output power will also experience corresponding fluctuations.
  • APC mode: Auto power control mode, where the user sets the signal light output power of the fiber amplifier. The fiber amplifier automatically controls and adjusts the pump current based on the output power monitored by the PD to achieve stable output signal. In APC mode, the user can adjust the output power within a range of 10% to 100% of the maximum output power. The advantage of APC mode is that when the input optical power fluctuates, the amplifier will minimize the fluctuation of output power as much as possible.
  • AGC mode: Automatic gain control mode, where the user sets the gain coefficient of the fiber amplifier. The amplifier automatically adjusts the pump current based on the input and output power detected by the PD to achieve the most stable gain multiple. When the input optical power fluctuates, the output power will also fluctuate accordingly, but the gain coefficient is generally stable.
